Ford Customer Service Division Increases Sales and Training
The Atlanta Region Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) employed 51 men and
women who provided 95,400 hours of training to dealerships in the region in
1999.
FCSD sold more than $570 million worth of vehicle parts to dealers last year, up from sales of more than $565 million in 1998.
The Atlanta Region FCSD opened two Quick Lane Service Centers in 1999. Quick Lane Service Centers offer customers a way to maintain their vehicles without having to compete with major repairs in the dealership service department. The first service center opened at Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville, Ala. Woody Anderson Ford was Ford Motor Company's ninth Quick Lane dealer. The other one opened at Alexander Ford/Lincoln Mercury in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
